The Faculty of Business and Economics greets its Alumni

“The professional experience of Alumni in their working places is of great importance for South East European University”, said the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Stefan Qirici, according to whom “Alumni are in their own home, and therefore mutual cooperation with SEEU has a great importance”.

After being informed of the current study programmes, the Alumni expressed their pleasure in the experiences gained at SEEU. They noted that they are in good positions and, in some cases, are in managerial levels in very good companies. On this occasion, the Alumni highlighted the role of courses in language skills, IT skills, communication skills, audit courses, and compulsory internships in companies, as all providing good opportunities from which students benefit.

Also, in these meetings the participation of Alumni as special guests were discussed. This was considered valuable, for they bring with them stories, and success in practical classes, and may exchange their experiences with the current students. It was also encouraging to note their willingness to accept SEEU students for internship in the companies where they work.

At the end these meetings were evaluated as positive and fruitful, with both groups expressed the desire to continue contacts in the future.
