South East European University (SEEU) and the University of Gjilan-Kadri Zeka will strengthen and broaden relations between themselves through mutual exchanges and research projects in relevant fields. This was agreed on Wednesday (10 June 2015) in Tetovo by the rectors of both universities, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika and Prof. Dr. Naim Syla. The Rectors emphasized the importance of the agreement by pointing out that the cooperation will include visits and exchanges of teaching and research staff, promotion of seminars, offering of courses, hosting of conferences, preparation of research projects within the various programs, and a general exchange of experiences in areas of common interest.
Rector Dika highlighted SEEU's international standards, including the structures and content of the study programs, the teaching methodology and the methods of academic administration. "This international focus has enabled the university to exceed the primary idea of providing high-quality education to the Macedonian market, and to extend that provision into Kosovo, the Preshevo Valley, Albania and the broader region. We do this by realizing the added value that this University gives," said Rector Dika.
Rector Dika in this meeting was accompanied by Pro-Rector Ismail Zejneli, the Director of the Max Van Der Stoel Research Institute Veton Latifi and Advisor Demush Bajrami; Rector Syla was accompanied by Pro-rector Sadik Haxhiu and Secretary Vaxhid Sadriu.
