Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika is re-elected Rector of the SEEU

Today, June 13th 2014, at the University Board meeting, in a secret ballot, in one round of voting, the South East European University (SEEU) Board elected Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika to lead the University for the next four years. Professor Dika is appointed to this position after a first term in office, during which he successfully led the institution.

The procedure for appointment was implemented in line with the SEEU Statute. The advertisement for the new SEEU Rector was open until 08th March and included clear criteria of a teaching-scientific title – Full Professor recognized at national level, appropriate managerial experience and an enthusiastic approach to developing SEEU’s mission. Advantage was given to candidates who had a good knowledge of the languages used at the University: Albanian, Macedonian and English.
