The Student Ombuds Office is a student service which can be contacted after all other avenues of enquiry have been pursued within your Faculty or department. All matters brought to the attention of this office are treated as private and confidential. Information will be divulged only where necessary for the purposes of enquiry.
The Ombudsman/woman is independent, impartial, confidential and fair. S/hedoes not represent the students, the university or any internal or external organization or group and may not be selected as a representative on any university body.
The Student Ombudsperson will independently and impartially investigate student complaints which have not been resolved by the department or faculty. S/he will not normally investigate a complaint until all other university complaint procedures have been completed.
