The South East European University (SEEU), in Tetovo, is ranked second in the country based on the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Peoples’ Republic of China, a leading institution in ranking higher education institutions.
At South East European University started the workshop on Innovative Technology and Services (INTENSE).

SEEU starts cooperation with German National Library of Economics-Leibniz. The German National Library of Economics-Leibniz is the largest library worldwide, with an annual fund of 4.1 million titles.
On Wednesday, December 7th, representatives of the Campus France and the French Institute held a presentation for SEEU students and staff.
Form 8 – 10 December in Vienna- Austria, Euroacademia organized a conference on topic “The European Union and the Politicization of Europe”.
The lecture was delivered on 16 November at the SEEU campus by Ms. Merita Alili representative of the National Preventive Mechanism (NPM), which functions under the Ombudsman Office of the Republic of Macedonia
The conference was held on November 22nd to 25th, 2011, in London, UK.
Liljana Siljanovska, Vlera Ejupi and Ylber Sela participated in the First Global Conference "Europe Inside - Out: Europeaness Exposed to Plural Observers.
On Tuesday 6 December, representatives of the World Bank Office in Skopje (Ms. Lilia Burunciuc, Country Manager, and Mr. Evgenij Najdov, Senior Economist) visited SEEU and presented the Regular Economic Report for Southeast Europe.
On Thursday (01.12.2011), local Tetovo high school "Kiril Pejqinovic" students presented their English topics to fellow high school students from all the other Tetovo High schools as well students from SEEU.
This week, November 28 thru December 3, 2011 SEEU is hosting a collaborative training event between Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business (IU KSB) and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM-L), from Lucknow, India.
In a formal academic ceremony on November 19, 2011, South East European University awarded an Honorary Doctorate to Michael A. McRobbie, President of Indiana University.
