Call for Papers for the 3rd International Scientific Conference -
Beginnings of Political Pluralism in Macedonia and Post-Communism
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 3rd International Scientific Conference organized by the Faculty of Contemporary Social Sciences- South East European University.
The conference on topic ‘Beginnings of Political Pluralism in Macedonia and Post-Communism’ will be held at South East European University – Skopje Campus from 12th -13th October 2018.
The Conference’s aim is to promote academic collaboration and networking between researchers in Macedonia and their colleagues in other countries. Researchers will have the opportunity to present their papers and case studies. They will also discuss contemporary political, economic, educational developments, problems and challenges in their respective professional fields. The conference is open to both researchers from the academic world and professionals from public and private entities. Thus, researchers and professionals will have a unique opportunity to interact closely and share their knowledge and experiences with each other. The conference strongly encourages master’s and Ph.D. students also to participate.

Submission of Papers and Authors Guidelines:
Authors are invited to submit original papers that have neither been published nor under publication considerations elsewhere. Papers should be written in English, Albanian or Macedonian using MS Word, and will be selected through a blind review process. Authors are solely responsible for language editing and ethics/legal issues for submitted works. There should be no more than three authors per paper, and at least one author of an accepted paper has to present it in person at the conference. A researcher can be author only in not more than two papers. The papers should be written in accordance with following instruction: - The paper should not exceed 10 single-spaced pages. - The paper should be written in Microsoft Word format: A4 format Times New Roman.
The paper (including references) must follow the APA (American Psychological Association) format. - In presenting formulas and equations, the Microsoft Equation editor must be used.
Abstracts and complete papers should look like following:
Title of the paper, Author’s first name and surname,
University/Institution and country,
Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
Keywords: up to 5 words.
The structure of a complete paper must follow the format below:

Presentation and Publication:
Authors have the option to present their work in following formats: ∙ Plenary session, ∙ Poster session, ∙ and Virtual session. Accepted papers will be considered for publication in the Conference Proceedings. Authors are also welcome to submit their papers for consideration for publication to the SEEU Review—the main research publication of South East European University—where they will be subjected to a double-blind review for acceptance.

Registration Process and Payment Methods:
Participation fee is as follows:
For plenary, poster and virtual session: 30 Euros per paper, Master and Ph.D. students: 20 Euros per paper. The PhD Candidates research will be published in SEEU Review Journal.
The registration/participation fee covers publications of Conference Proceedings, conference materials, conference reception, break refreshments and dinner.
Conference fee can be paid either through banks transfer or at the day of registration desk on the conference date.
