This seminar brings together PhD candidates (students) and University Professors (PhD advisors) in an academic atmosphere so that PhD candidates can present their findings and advisors can comment and suggest new avenues and approaches.
This year, the SEEU Faculty Business and Economics teaching assistants (Luan Eshtrefi, Selma Kurtishi, and Shenaj Haxhimustafa) presented their latest findings of their doctoral dissertations and received positive comments and feedback from the advisors. Moreover, two to three PhD candidates from other partner universities also presented their findings.
The EDS programme is a cooperation of the following Economics and Business Faculties and their respective universities: Bamberg University (Germany), University of Sarajevo (Bosnia), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), University of Kaposvar (Hungary), University of Tirana (Albania), and this year’s host, the South East European University.
This year, in line with the idea of public-private partnerships, SEEU was able to secure funding for this event by the multinational company Ecolog.
After the successful seminar, a international volume will be published to incorporate the scientific articles of the PhD candidates.
