“Be sure that you, as students of the South East European University, should feel special, because you will study in the most beautiful environment in the region, with conditions to study that envy quite a number of European universities,” said Rector Dika.
The Provost and Pro-Rector for Academic Issues Prof. Dr. Paul Foster, wished a warm welcome to new students by asking them to be creative, brave, hardworking, in order to have a bright future.
The President of the SEEU Student Union, Pajtim Thaci, said that SEEU is the best choice as an investment in the future of the freshmen. He asked new students to work closely with the Union and be an active part of it because the Student Union was created for the student interest.
Moreover, freshmen students were introduced to the main university services, such as Student Services, IT services, Library, Career services and Faculties in which they have chosen to study.
During orientation week, Student Services were mostly engaged by supporting freshmen students easily to adjust and absorb knowledge about new technologies for a good start of the academic year.
All students were provided with a guide folder, prepared specially for "orientation week", which offers information about a range of services like support and instruction to students from admission, financial support, registration, studies and after graduation.
