Graduation ceremony – Tenth Generation

On Saturday (14 June 2014), at South East European University (SEEU) - Tetovo, in a celebratory atmosphere, approximately 2000 participants, parents, students and numerous other guests had the opportunity to be part of a unique ceremony to mark the graduation of the tenth generation.

The Rector of South East European University, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika, added that the goal of this University remains the assurance and further development of quality in higher education, both in Macedonia and in the region, and to encourage student mobility in the European Higher Area.

“Our academic staff have developed a unique institution of higher education here in the Republic of Macedonia; they have provided you with an education comparable to that in other European countries, and we hope that you will use this not only for your own benefit, but for the benefit of others,” said the President of Board of SEEU, Prof. Dr. Dennis Farrington.

In keeping with tradition, the best students of the generation were recognised; two of their number--Hristina Sibinovska and Vlora Memedi--spoke on their behalf.

“The experience gained here is a combination of pleasing moments and difficult moments also, which will be a strong support in the realization of our dreams for tomorrow.” said Ms. Memedi.

“Through SEE University we became not only graduates, but we became global students and global citizens.” said Ms. Sibinovska.
