South East European University is a modern, forward-looking educational institution which strives to employ contemporary, interactive teaching methodology with the most current IT support, always maintaining the clear goal of conforming to the Bologna Process for higher education. Since 2001, SEEU has responded to the needs and demands of the local community and region for effective and relevant educational programs. Our campus in Tetovo, where thousands of students are currently enrolled in first and second cycle degree programs, is a model university facility. Our location in Skopje, while not nearly so large, will provide the same essential features that make SEEU such a uniquely modern European university and excellent and enjoyable place to earn a degree.

Study programs:

Both first (undergraduate) and second (graduate) cycle programs will be offered in Skopje. First cycle programs are offered both full-time with classes meeting weekly, and part-time with classes held every second week. All second cycle degree programs are offered part-time. Course delivery in part-time programs, both first and second cycle, is via 50% in class and 50% on-line. SEEU employs a flexible approach to language use. The language of study for most programs is either Albanian or Macedonian. The exception is the Business Informatics, a new, full time degree program, which is taught exclusively in English.

SEEU Skopje also offers extensive language support and options for first and second cycles. English is a required subject for all first cycle and some second cycle programs. French, German, and Italian are also available as elective courses, in some cases. There are also plans to begin offering language classes for the community in Albanian as part of non-degree programs in the future.

Course delivery and IT support:

All classes are delivered in small groups. Teaching is interactive and technology is used to full effect to enhance and expand learning possibilities. In class, students and teachers utilize Information Technology to its fullest potential. In addition to computers and LCD projectors, SEEU is now in the process of installing Smart Boards in several classrooms. Video conferencing via Polycom units is in utilized to allow real time instruction from lectures outside of Macedonia. Finally, the potential for close, fast, and frequent communication between classmates and with course teachers is maintained outside of class time through the extensive use of email and the on line course management tool, Angel.

Like Angel, most student services are also available on line from any location. Several years ago, SEEU implemented the E-services program, allowing students instant access to grades, schedules and scheduling services, and transcripts. SEEU Skopje, like the main campus in Tetovo (from September 2008) will operate its own wireless network. Students, teachers, and administrative staff will all have instant and free access 24 hours per day.

Full access and privilege to all SEEU services:
           
Students at SEEU Skopje will have the same access and privilege to University services and events as students on the Tetovo campus. These include access to the University library (including of course on line resources such as the EBSCO database), computer labs, the Career Center, and university events such as lectures, concerts, sporting events, etc.
