SECOND CYCLE OF STUDIES – POSTGRADUATE
Pursuant to the article 108, of the Law on Higher Education (Official Gazette of RM, no. 35/08), Rule on admission criteria for studding at SEEU, and SEEU Senate decision, adopted on April 4, 2008, SEE University Council announces:
Competition
For student admission to two-year second cycle studies (postgraduate), according to model 3+2, at SEEU faculties for the academic year 2008/2009
- Study Programs in Skopje
Two-year second cycle programs (post-graduate studies), that will be offered in the academic year 2008/2009, in SEEU-Skopje, are the following:

- In cases where the number of candidates is less than 20 per study program, the University has the right not to activate that study program and to offer to respective candidates the possibility to study in some other active study program.

For student admission to three-semester second cycle studies (postgraduate), according to model 4+1, at SEEU faculties for the academic year 2008/2009
- Study Programs at Skopje
Three semesters study programs of the second cycle (postgraduate studies), that are offered in the academic year 2008/2009, in SEEU premises in Skopje:

- Language proficiency requirements
All study programs in both Competitions for second cycle of studies (according to three semester and four semester models) are offered in Albanian and Macedonian language, except for marked programs that will be offered only in English or French language. However, University has right to offer part of lectures or courses in English language, therefore proficiency in Albanian, Macedonian and English language is required and proficiency of at least two of the abovementioned languages on academic level is obligatory. Responsibility about the level of language proficiency is upon the candidate.
- Admission criteria and terms for the full-time students
1. Candidates that have an undergraduate (first cycle) university diploma (verified),or equivalent to three years undergraduate studies (180 ECTS credits) or four years (240 ECTS credits have the right of enrolment for second cycle studies according to the model 3+2 (two years).
2. Candidates that have an undergraduate (first cycle) university diploma (verified), or equivalent to four years (240 ECTS credits), have the right of enrolment in second cycle studies according to the model 4+1 (three semesters).
3. Candidates are enrolled as full-time students with self financing.
4. Courses will be regular and modular according to the following model: 50% of the curricula of the respective faculty will be offered in regular form and the other part curricula can be via self study (led by instructors). Regular courses will be offered every second week after 16:00h, and Saturdays form 8:00, in order to be adjusted to the candidates who are working full time. While with modular courses (when foreign professors are present), the scheduling of lectures will be more intensive.
5. Advantage will be given to students that have achieved GPA 8.00 and above during the first cycle of studies.
6. All candidates should write an essay consisting of at least 500 words, in which they state the reasons for applying to SEEU, and their expectations for the experience.
7. If the number of candidates is lower than that foreseen for a study program, the University has the right not to activate that study program. A central commission will observe the implementation of the process and will give instruction and opinions about this process. - Application deadlines
Application will be from June 16 until September 28, 2008.
- Documents need for application in the competition
All applicants must upon application submit the following documentation:
1. A completed Application Form to the Admissions Office (Application forms are available for download on the University website: www.seeu.edu.mk) and payment invoice (PP10) for the amount of 1500 MKD from Stopanska Banka (Account no: 200-000877547449, Tax number: 40280031342922. A short biography/letter of interest consisting of at least 500 words. Candidates should state the reasons for his/her application at SEEU, and his/her expectations for study at SEEU.
3. Original University diploma (1st Cycle or Bachelor) as well as all original transcripts (and Diploma Supplement if available) of 1st Cycle or Bachelors studies (or notarized copies).
