The University pursues an open admissions policy, subject to certain restrictions. Open admission means that the University is committed to admitting anyone qualified to participate in its academic programs. Applicants, therefore, must meet the admission requirements set by the university and the general requirements regulated by the law on higher education of the Republic of Macedonia to be considered for a place at the University.
- Right of enrollment in the University have all candidates that have completed four years secondary school or its equivalent and that have passed state matura.
- If in the first enrollment session is not fulfilled the foreseen number in the competition, then right on enrollment in the second session beside those one that passed state matura who have advantage for enrollment, candidates from the gymnasiums that have passed school matura and candidates form professional high schools that have passed this final exam.
- Candidates that have finished four year secondary high school or its equivalent before 2008, have right to enroll only on basis high school success.
- Candidates that have finished four year secondary high school or its equivalent out side of Republic of Macedonia ë, have right to enroll only on basis high school success, but on mean time they should verify their diploma in the Ministry of Education and Science of Republic of Macedonia.
- Evaluation of the success form high school and state matura and school matura for candidates form general gymnasiums or the final exam for those ones that have finished professional high schools (for the candidates on the second admission session), is expressed on points. Based on the points will done the ranking.
- Candidates that are enrolled without state matura, they will have to under go testing on English language, on the foreseen date in section IV. This testing is not of eliminatory character, but is needed for determination of the level of English language.
- Candidates are enrolled as full-time and part-time students with self financing of studies.
- Advantage during enrollment in part-time studies will be given to the candidates that have employment status and that have better results from high school. Employed candidates would have to certify their status.
- To the part-time students 50% of the curricula will be offered on face, and the other part will do with self studies (with instruction from the instructors).
Application of the candidates is from June 16th until September 1st.
For the candidates, that have passed state matura in the session, draft list of the admitted candidates will be 7 days after the announcement of final results from state matura. Enrollment of the admitted candidates will start after announcement of the final list and will last 14 days.
Candidates that have passed state matura in the second session, that have advantage or candidates from the gymnasiums that have passed school matura and candidates form professional high schools that have passed this final exam, the list of admitted candidates will be announced 5 days after announcement of final results of the second session. Enrollment of the admitted candidates will start after announcement of the final list and will last 10 days.
Testing in English language for determination of the level (which is not enrollment condition), for the candidates that have completed high school before 2008, or outside of RM, will be organized in the University according to program which will be additionally announced in the University web page.

All applicants must upon application submit the following documentation for the academic year 2008/2009:
- A completed Application Form to the Admissions Office (Application forms are available for download on the University website: www.seeu.edu.mk) and payment invoice (PP10) for the amount of 1500 MKD from Stopanska Banka (Account no: 200-000877547449, Tax number: 4028003134292
- A short biography/letter of interest consisting of at least 500 words candidates should state the reasons of his/her application at SEEU, and his/her expectations
- Original diploma form high school as well as all original transcripts (or notarized copies) as well for students that have completed high school out side of republic of Macedonia.
- Certificate for the results from state matura, i.e. school matura or final examination.
- Birth certificate.
- Photo copy of ID or passport.
Candidates that apply from June 16th until the announcement of the results from state matura with the needed documents according to items 1,2, 5 and 6, will be considered that are admitted on condition, so they have reserved the right of a place in the respective faculty, while final enrollment will be conducted after submission of the document foreseen in the item3 and 4.
