Services for SEEU Students
With the rise of information technology and multinational companies and organizations, the workplace is becoming globally competitive, and students must be prepared to work and live in this environment. Taking or finishing a degree abroad provide s an excellent opportunity for students to be introduced to the world in another cultural context.
At SEEU, the International Office works with each faculty’s Pro-Dean for Academic Affairs, Pro-Dean for Student Issues, and ECTS Coordinator to guide students when applying for programs at other universities. The Mobility Officer within the International Office facilitates this process by advising students applying in foreign universities.
Services for SEEU StaffJust as the emergence of globalisation is important for students, it is equally important for teaching and administrative staff. Curricula and teaching methods must reflect current trends and employment requirements, and administrative staff must be capable of supporting the needs of such programs.
The International Office at SEEU works with the university’s Internationalisation Committee to develop priorities and identify opportunities for staff and university development. The Research Officer and the Project Development Officer work with faculty staff to prepare project proposals to address the needs and priorities of the university.
Services for International StudentsSEEU’s unique policy of “flexible use of languages” makes the university a vibrant multicultural educational institution. For students in the region and around the world with an interest to attend SEEU, the International Office functions as a liaison between prospective students and the Student Services Centre.
Services for International StaffThe Republic of Macedonia and Tetovo offer excellent opportunities for research in a wide variety of academic fields, i.e. from human rights and environmental studies to economic development and European integration studies. To facilitate academics, researchers and administrative staff from other countries, the International Office acts as a liaison between interested international staff and the appropriate faculty or university department.
