Curricula and Teaching
In cooperation with international staff and partner Universities in Europe and the USA, SEEU has developed modern curricula following European models. The local staff is permanently engaged, so that the curricula reflects an institution that trains students to help organisations in the private and public sectors face future challenges.

Interactive teaching has been emphasized by the institution since its establishment. This alternative to traditional teaching facilitates learning and prepares students for the open communication skills necessary for today’s working environments. The European University Association characterised this kind of teaching as the “SEEU model,” from which other universities in the country and the region can learn and benefit. Interactive and small group (20 students or less) teaching contributes to logical thinking, problem-solving, communication and team work.

Graduates are expected to possess and demonstrate different skills, competencies and knowledge. This is why we enable students early in their academic careers at SEEU to be trained in the use of Information Technology and in local and world languages, an educational innovation in the country and region. Students benefit from combination of modern curricula and teaching methods, building important knowledge and skills for the workplace.

After earning their degrees, students will possess proficiency in interpersonal and professional communication and presentation techniques, applicable in contemporary employment environments.

Part-time studies, also present an innovation in the region. The reduced (50%) contact hours combined with distance learning education represent an original initiative for lifelong learning which satisfies the needs of workers in the country and region.
