Doc.Dr. Zamir Dika


Dr Zamir Dika was born in 1969 in Debar. In 1992 he graduated in the Faculty of Machinery in Prishtina (Kosovo). He continued his post-graduate studies in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the Polytechnic University of Tirana, and he earned his MSc and Doctor of Science degrees there.

His first working experiences were in the University of Prishtina (Faculty of Machinery), from 1992 to 1994, where he worked as an assistant in the Applied Mechanic Department.
From 1994 to 1998 he worked as a Manager in the factory "Deplast" in Debar.
From 1998 to 2000 he was engaged as a professor in the Faculty of Computer Sciences in the University of Tetovo. In the same Faculty in the academic year 1999/2000 he was appointed as Dean of Computer Science Faculty. From 2001 to 2003, he served as Director of Computer Centre at SEEU.

From 1998 to 2006, he was a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia.
He has also been a Board Member of the company "Macedonian Telecommunication" and a member of the Accreditation Board on Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Macedonia.

Prof. Dika has attended and presented papers at numerous conferences, and he has managed several university development projects for SEEU. He is author of several scientific publications and teaching materials.
