Xhevair Memedi
Mr. Memedi was born in Tetovo in 1963. He completed his university education in Skopje University graduating in 1989 from the Faculty of Philology, Department of English language and literature. In 2002, he completed a professional training at Indiana University on Human Resources Management. In 2005 he earned his MBA degree from the Bled School of Management in Slovenia. Currently he is enrolled at PhD studies at the University and making research in Change management.
Mr. Memedi started his career as a teacher of English in 1995. In 1996 he joined the University of Tetovo first as a teaching assistant and later as the manager of the department of English language and literature. In 1998 and the beginning of 1999 he worked for the mission of the United Nations in Macedonia whereas in 1999 he was the manager of the local office of the International Republican Institute in Tetovo. In the same year, in September he returned to the high school of economics/business where he also chaired the Board of the school. In 2001 he joined a small but highly committed team of internationals and local staff to found the new SEE University in October of the same year. Ever since, he has been working at SEE University, performing various duties, first as Director of the Human Resources Department and afterwards as the Deputy Secretary General. His current position as Secretary-General of SEE University, Mr. Memedi took up in 2004.
