Vladimir Radevski,
PhD is Assistant Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Communication
Sciences and Technologies. He earned his BSc degree in Mathematics
and Informatics from the University of Ss Cyril and Methodius
in Skopje (MK) in 1989. After earning his MSc degree in Applied
Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Belgrade
(YU) in 1995 he joint the Laboratory of Computer Science (LIPN)
of the University of Paris 13, Paris (FR) where he earned the
PhD degree in Computer Science in 2000.
He started his academic career at the University Ss Cyril and
Methodius as Teaching and Research assistant in Mathematics and
Computer Science in 1990. From 1995 to 2000 he was member of the
Working Group Algorithmic and Optimization of LIPN and the University
Paris 13, Paris (FR) where he was promoted to the position of
ATER in 1999. From 2000 he joins the University French-Turkish
University of Galatasaray, Istanbul (TR) where he was promoted
to Assistant professor and started his lecturer career teaching
several courses at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
From 2001 he was appointed as Vice President of the Computer Engineering
Department of the same Faculty at Galatasaray University. He joined
the SEE University in 2003 at the position of Pro Dean of the
CST Faculty and is Dean of the Faculty from September 2004.
Besides the rich teaching career at the University of Paris 13,
Galatasaray University and the SEE University Dr Vladimir Radevski
attended and published at many national and international conferences
form the Computer Science / Engineering field. His interest and
research area covers the Artificial Intelligence Systems, Computational
Intelligence and Neuroscience, Expert Systems and their combination,
and Pattern Recognition. Co-author of a book on Operating system
Unix (1993) he published in international journals and was reviewer
and chair of several session of ACM and other international conferences.
Dr Radevski is member and initiator of several international research
and application projects from the domain of Computer Science and
gave several lectures by invitation in Seminars and Universities
in France and Turkey.
He is married and speaks English, French and Turkish and is beginner
in Albanian and Greek languages.
