Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti



He is a citizen of Republic of Macedonia, born in 1959 in Tetova, Macedonia. He graduated from the Economic Faculty in Pristine-Kosovo in 1982. He completed his Master Degree in 1999, in Skopje University ”St Cyril & Methodius”-Economic Faculty, Department of Monetary Economy. He completed his PhD degree in the same University and Faculty in Fiscal Policy Study in 2002.
His work experience is in Financial Accounting services in “Tehno-Promet” - Tetova (1983-1985), then promoted to Chief of Financial Services in the same firm (1985-1987). In the period of 1987-1994, he was tax services inspector at the State level, then he was promoted to Deputy General Director in the Directorate of Public Incomes of Macedonia. In 1995, he was promoted to an Interim Director of the same institution. In the period of 1996-1997, he was Minister of Development in the Government of Macedonia and, in the period of 1997-1998, Minister of Transport and Communication.
Prof. Bexheti has published two books:

1. “One Decade of Economical and Political Opinion”
2. “Public Finance”

In the period 2000-2001, he was Assistant Professor in Faculty of Economics-University of Tetova. From 2001 to present, he is teaching in the Business Administration and Public Administration faculties at South East European University. Prof. Bexheti specializes in the subjects of macroeconomics and public finance.

Starting from 1998 until now he is a collaborator of “HE-MA” Institute from Hamburg in social-economic field. He has also attended many scientific and professional conferences and developed a number of successful projects.
