From the beginning of its operation,
the main goal of the University library has been to provide itself
with relevant materials for its readers, i.e. employees and students
at this University. Accordingly, cooperation with local and foreign publishing
houses is a top priority. Great effort is put in providing literature for all faculty directions.
The library has also received books from different donors. Donations
from the French and German Embassies are much appreciated. It is
these contributions that have enabled the Library fund to be enriched
with German and French literature.
The same applies also for the cooperation with Indiana University.
A considerable number of books have also been donated by the ‘Sabre
Foundation’, which has helped the University Library from
the beginning of its establishment.
