In addition to the Llibrary's primary services, the library on a continuous basis also hosts and organizes a series of cultural events and activities of interest to the library community. These activities and events include book exhibitions, art exhibitions, book presentations, book debates/celebrations and other cultural activities such as the current Ethnologic exhibition with the theme ”Home atmosphere”.

Ethnologic
exhibition
Part of the ‘Max van der Stoel’ library area is currently
reserved for an ethnologic exhibition with the theme ‘home
atmosphere’. The exhibition enriches the library experience
and presents, at the same time, cultural and artistic values.
This exhibition has caught the eye and interest of many regular
users of the library and several foreign visitors. The ethnologic
exhibition is the third exhibition organized at the SEE University
Library.
Art exhibitions
Organizing Art Exhibitions at the ‘Max van der Stoel’
library has somewhat become a tradition. On several occasions
different local artists have been invited to present their works,
including also the talented local artist, Bigaip Kocista.
International Book Day
To celebrate the International Book Day 2005, the library organized
several book exhibitions of rare books and the works of William
Shakespeare. The celebration included several speeches on the
world famous author, William Shakespeare and the Albanian author,
Fan S. Noli, who is an Albanian interpreter of the works of Shakespeare.
The library has hosted several book presentations and aims to continue with these events on a regular basis.
On May 19, 2005, was the new book of Dr.
Prof. Hamit Xhaferi, ”Kahe Letrare”, promoted. This
event was honored also by the presence and speech of academic
Ali Aliu, who is also the reviewer of this book.
On May 27, 2005, the university library was also honored with
the presence of the renowned Croat author, Aleksandër Stipceviq,
who is the author of several books on the Illyrians. During this
event was the new book of Aleksandër Stipceviq, ‘The
history of the Book, promoted and a debate with h the theme ‘The
origin of the Illyrians’ was held.
