SEEU students have a high level of employment. Continuous surveys prepared by the Career Center prove this. The latest survey compiled in February of 2009 showed that 65% of SEEU graduates find jobs within a year and 12.44% are employed before their graduation. The reason why our graduates are so attractive to the labor market is closely related with the preparation of our students for the labor market, which is accomplished by aligning our curricula with the demands of the job market. Another reason for this success is the continued contacts that University holds with potential employers through the Career Center and Business Development Centre, which together have created good relationships with over 300 potential employers in the country and abroad.
Graduates in SEEU, regardless of the profile of their research, are welcomed in many sectors and industries in the labor market. A major employer of our graduates is the public sector, which accounts for approximately 60% of employment, distributed at all levels of public service (central and local) and within a wide range of sub-sectors, such as the General Secretariat, Parliament, the various ministries, educational institutions and health care, and so on. Approximately 40% of graduates have found jobs in the private market of work, including sectors such as financial, consultancy, education, IT, etc.
