South East European University marked its 10th Anniversary in the presence of the diplomatic core, Rectors of State Universities from the country: “Ss. Cyril and Methodious”, State University in Tetovo, “St. Kliment Ohridski”, University “Goce Delcev”, Private University “FON”, University of Tirana, University in Prishtina, and others.

In a formal academic ceremony on November 19, 2011, South East European University awarded an Honorary Doctoral degree to Michael A. McRobbie, President of Indiana University.

South East European University receives the Order of Merit for Macedonia by the President of the Republic of Macedonia
The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Gjorge Ivanov awarded “The Order of Merit for Macedonia” to the South East European University on Friday 18 November, in a solemn ceremony.

Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha was Awarded the Prize for Leadership at SEEU
On Wednesday (9 November 2011), Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha held a lecture on Euro-Atlantic Integration at the South East European University in Tetovo and was awarded with the annual Prize for Leadership for 2009 by the Institute for Democracy and Development.
