Within Higher Education, there is evidence of constant innovation and changing approaches to provision of online services. Most recently, the Learning Content Management Systems have become an important feature of electronic service delivery within the HE Information Services sector, demanding close attention to issues of functionality, sustainability and usability.
We explored this issue from the perspective of SEEU. The aim of this research in its initial phase, was to explore the current LCMSs and their features, and based on that research experience to design a model of LCMS that would answer best to SEEU’s needs. Next, we developed and implemented the LCMS at SEEU, using a modular approach. Currently we are testing the project and evaluating, so feel free to contact us for any remarks.
