The Senate is the principal academic organ of the University.
The Rector’s Council
The functions of the Rector’s Council are:
To act as a regular and frequent channel of communication between its members and with the Senate, the Rector and the University Board and its Executive Committee;
To take decisions on academic issues delegated by the Senate and to report to the Senate thereon; etc
